Synectics announces new UAE branch and exclusive product previews at Intersec 2025

Synectics

Synectics, a leader in advanced security and surveillance systems, is set to open a new UAE branch. Visitors to Intersec 2025 will be able to learn more about the development and be the first in the world to preview new ‘Forensic Search’ and ‘Facial Recognition’ capabilities in the company’s Synergy software.

Multi-sector support for the Middle East

With just days to go until Intersec 2025, Synectics has announced it will use the show to discuss some major developments, including plans to open a new UAE branch in Abu Dhabi.

David Aindow, Business Strategy Director at Synectics, commented: “Our return to Intersec this year is reflective of a more substantial return to the region. As well as re-establishing a dedicated support office, we intend to work closely with partners throughout the Middle East, where our experience means we are ideally positioned to help a wide range of organisations achieve their goals.”

Synectics’ multi-sector expertise is well suited to the region’s ambitious plans to develop new smart cities, transport systems, healthcare facilities, integrated leisure resorts, and more.

Exclusive product previews for Intersec visitors

Synectics will also use this year’s Intersec to give visitors to Stand S1 F39  an exclusive preview of exciting new capabilities in Synergy.

Fresh from launching a new AI Suite in 2024, Synectics will showcase two additional AI-based Synergy features – Forensic Search and a Facial Recognition Module.

Leveraging generative AI, Forensic Search enables users to search footage faster and more accurately with natural language queries. The development will complement Synergy’s extensive range of incident management tools, facilitating rapid investigative reviews.

The new Facial Recognition (FR) module provides Synergy users with a unified interface – linked to Synergy’s built-in person of interest capabilities. It, too, will work in unison with the software’s existing incident management features.

Cameras for all sectors and conditions

To round things off, Synectics’ latest camera solutions, including the company’s COEX camera stations, will also be on show at Intersec.

COEX hazardous and safe area cameras – which feature built-in analytics capabilities – are widely used in the region and beyond. They are widely respected within the oil, gas, marine, and critical infrastructure sectors due to their ability to perform in extreme weather and operating conditions. Various models will be used for live demos as the show, alongside Synectics’ latest 4K IP cameras.

Aindow added: “We’ve never had a more exciting and relevant portfolio of solutions to meet modern security and surveillance needs – in the Middle East and globally. We can’t wait to be back at Intersec, speaking to customers and demonstrating the huge potential these latest technologies have to offer.”
