On the BSIA’s stand 5/L110, at The Security Event (TSE), the Women in Security Network (WiSE UK) had a significant presence. Security on Screen’s Peter Mawson met up with several of its members, including Co-Founder (and BSIA Head of Marketing and Communications) Liz Lloyd, and Co-Founders Sarah Cork, Debbie Carter, Camilla Kirkham, and Kate Dawes from Wesco Anixter. They gave some insight about the organisation, which has evolved from a WhatsApp Group to an organisation with 400 members which supports women within the security sector in many ways, while offering them a space to connect with other females, who, in an industry where they make up just 10% of the workforce, might not get the chance otherwise.
