The Security Event 2025 interview: Network Optix

NETWORK OPTIX

Taking stand 5/E40 at The Security Event 2025, Network Optix will be offering live demos of its latest innovations, including Nx Maps, Nx Connect, and Edge Deployment Options. In this exclusive interview, UK & Ireland Regional Sales Manager, George Matic, explains more.

Why is TSE an important show for you?

GM: “TSE is a key industry event that allows us to engage directly with security professionals, integrators, and technology partners in the UK and Europe. It’s an opportunity to showcase how Network Optix is driving innovation in enterprise video management and to strengthen relationships with existing and potential partners. The event also provides valuable insights into emerging security trends and market demands.”

What can visitors expect from you at the show? Why should they visit your stand?

GM: “Visitors can expect live demonstrations of Nx Witness Pro, Nx Witness Enterprise, and our latest innovations, including:

  • Nx Maps: An intuitive, interactive mapping feature that provides real-time situational awareness by overlaying cameras, alarms, and sensors onto a visual map.
  • Nx Connect: A comprehensive portal for managing SaaS channels, software licenses, and billing within a secure, unified system. Nx Connect enables partners to manage Nx recording licenses, Nx Maps, and other Nx service subscriptions efficiently.
  • Edge Deployment Options: Optimised solutions for running Nx Witness directly on ARM-based devices, IoT hardware, and AI-enabled cameras, delivering smarter and more efficient video processing at the edge.

“Our team will be available for in-depth discussions, helping visitors explore how these solutions can enhance their security operations, optimize workflows, and integrate seamlessly with their existing infrastructure.”

Can we expect any announcements from you at the show?

GM: “We will be providing updates on new features and enhancements that will be arriving in the near future, giving attendees insight into what’s next for the Nx ecosystem.”

What do you feel you are offering that sets you aside from your competitors?

GM: “Our core differentiator is our true open platform approach, providing unparalleled flexibility for system integrators and end users. Unlike many traditional VMS solutions, Nx Witness is lightweight, highly customizable, and built with a developer-friendly API, enabling deep integrations with AI analytics, IoT devices, and cloud infrastructure. Additionally, our licensing model is simple and transparent, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising performance or scalability. Nx Connect further enhances our offering by providing a centralised platform for managing subscriptions and deployments, streamlining operations, and supporting sales growth for our partners.”

What are you most looking forward to at the show?

GM: “Beyond showcasing our latest innovations, we are eager to connect with industry professionals, discuss real-world challenges, and explore new partnerships. TSE serves as an excellent platform to exchange ideas, gather feedback, and observe firsthand how security technology is evolving. We also look forward to networking with existing partners and identifying new opportunities that align with our mission of delivering intelligent, scalable, and efficient video solutions.”
