Video | Datapath’s Steven Simpson on evolving control room tech

In this exclusive interview, Datapath Regional Sales Manager for the Middle East, Steven Simpson explains to Peter Mawson how investment in control technology is evolving across the Middle East. He notes how it is a very mixed picture, depending on the country, with some more “cost-conscious” and others, such as the UAE, “more mature” and understanding of the benefits that Datapath’s solutions bring, with its UK-built products in national command centres for airlines and airports, across infrastructure facilities, in sports arenas, and more.

The pair discusses the operational and technological needs that security organisations are prioritising, with Simpson explaining how customers are moving away from the “simple PC” towards fine pitch LED video walls, utilising high-spec processors in the meantime, like Datapath. Simpson also drills down into the ways in which Datapath is meeting evolving, and future market requirements. Datapath wares will be on show at the CTF Consoles stand S1-133.
