This year Intersec sees the launch of its inaugural Intersec Policing Conference, (taking place January 15 – 16) and Eddie L. Reyes, a retired Deputy Chief of Police in the US and 9-1-1 Center Director has been instrumental in advising and assisting on this aspect of the trade show. In this exclusive interview, he tells Peter Mawson delegates can expect to learn about “everything imaginable in the world of public safety – everything from Police, Fire & Rescue, Civil Defence, Cybersecurity”.

Reyes said that the conference, which he believes is the biggest policing and public safety conference in the world, featuring public safety professionals from more than 100 countries, will cover all the tools and technology at the disposal of public safety professionals, adding that AI would be one of drivers of conversation at the show.
