Intersec 2025 interview: Morse Watchmans/Morse Middle East

Morse Watchmans

Taking stand S2 E10 at Intersec 2025, Morse Watchmans with Morse Middle East will showcase its KeyWatcher Touch product, and offer live demonstrations. In this exclusive interview,  VP Global Sales & Marketing at Morse Watchmans, Tim Purpura explains more.

What can visitors to your Intersec stand expect to see?

TP: “We will showcase our signature KeyWatcher Touch, which is an essential physical security system for managing keys and assets. This is an opportunity to see live demonstrations of the KeyWatcher Touch as well as learn about our suite of security solutions including KeyBank Touch for large-scale key and asset management, the KeyWatcher Fleet for fleet management, and the Emergency Key Grab (EKG) system for first responder quick access to important keys during emergencies.”

Can we expect any announcements from you at the show?

TP: “Although new developments are currently in the works, we will most likely not be ready for announcing them at Intersec. Stay tuned. We will keep you posted.”

What do you feel you are offering that sets you aside from your competitors?

TP: “Morse Watchmans has been a leading provider of security products since 1882. Through conversations and customer input through the years, we learned that our customers needed a more secure solution for managing keys. We responded by developing the very first electronic key control system for them just over 30 years ago. We continue to provide a high-quality key control system of great value, and we continue to listen to customers and what they want from a key control system. Besides putting customers first, we provide great technical support and customer service. We also offer a great cost-to-own investment. There are no recurring fees, and our systems are durable and last for years.”

What do you think will be the main drivers for business next year?

TP: “A stable global economy, reduced inflation, and reduced unemployment rates will drive business. A surge of international and domestic travel will bring crowds to airports, hotels, casinos and tourist destinations. When there are crowds, security plans must be reviewed and amended, and security technology systems must be reviewed to accommodate operations and facilities management changes.”

What will be the primary challenges, and what is your strategy to overcome potential hurdles?

TP: “Since we are the first to develop electronic key control, our competition has developed their own versions of key control systems. We are always addressing our product quality, technical support, and customer service to ensure that our customers get the best of the best for their investment. We always review our supply chain to ensure that we provide the best price for our customers without compromising quality. Inflation certainly made this process difficult this year, but we are ending the year with strong global sales after a sluggish start in 2024. We also have immense gratitude toward our customers for entrusting Morse Watchmans for their unique key control needs. Our sales team is seasoned, knowledgeable, approachable, and patient, many of whom have been at Morse Watchmans for decades, and are always ready to help with questions our prospects have.”

Are there any special considerations or additional support that you offer your clients across the Middle East?

TP: “Morse Middle East has been a representative for Morse Watchmans products for over 22 years, which provides sales and technical support for UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Oman. Dinesh Menon and his technical team at Morse Middle East are experts in our product portfolio and are always exploring new business opportunities. They are well established as a leading security technology provider for the Middle East and have provided security solutions to hundreds of customers in the region.”
