Redvision has fully integrated its VMS1000 Video Management System with Cortech’s Datalog MV Comprehensive CCTV Management System. Stephen Lightfoot, Technical Director at Redvision, explains that “the hard-work and collaboration between the two companies has resulted in a swift and successful integration of the two products. The combination of Cortech Datalog and Redvision VMS1000 offers a world-class, watertight, solid security and environmental management system, which we are excited to release to the market”.
VMS1000 offers analytic options, which include neural and embedded core analytics. Neural analytics can be general, identifying many types of objects; or specific, such as crime and industrial related. Embedded core analytics include, but are not limited to: Presence, enter, Exit, Stopped object and Tailgating. Any combination of the embedded core analytics rules can be run concurrently in a zone within a camera view and multiple zones can be used concurrently on each analytics channel.
Jason Blundell, Head of Sales and Marketing at Cortech Developments, comments “it’s been a pleasure working in partnership together with Redvision to offer this new integration to the market, the combination of both Datalog and VMS1000 makes for a powerful and attractive solution utilising the latest technology.”
Datalog MV operates with the latest version of Datalog providing local and remote site monitoring and control of building, fire, security and life safety systems and significantly enhances the ability of operators to manage video surveillance systems which may be part of an integrated solution. System warnings, events and alarms are all clearly identified, prioritised, graphically located and visually verified with automatic CCTV video to enable a more efficient and accountable response, while significantly enhances the control, flexibility and stability of managing a wide range of camera systems across multiple locations.
Datalog MV assists operators to visually verify what is occurring by providing a ‘video replay’ experience. Live, alarm pre/post and historical video footage can be viewed simultaneously across all connected manufacturers systems proving greater situational awareness to the end user.
Stephen continues, “the integration between the two products enables operability at a high level for a vast array of features and functions, creating an exciting list of possibilities. The VMS1000 is a world leading offering for video surveillance management. With its integration with Datalog, which also manages access control and Building Management Systems, the combined solution provides the end user with the ability to monitor and manage the entire system.”
Jason concludes, “With ever demanding environments, users require and expect a reliable, quick and efficient response with true end to end interoperability. Our combined product, technical, sales and marketing teams have been involved every step of the way to ensure this successful release.”
