TAKEX has announced the launch of the PB-60TX, a next-generation photoelectric beam sensor designed for improved performance, easy alignment and reduced energy consumption. TAKEX will be showcasing the PB-60TX at The Security Event 2024.

Building on the PB-TE twin beam series, the PB-60TX incorporates a number of innovative features to enhance security and user experience.

The PB-60TX boasts a remarkable 53% reduction in energy consumption compared to previous models, reducing environmental impact without compromising performance.

Additionally, the unit features a user-friendly sound check function for effortless alignment, optional anti-bird spikes to prevent interference from our feathered friends, together with a drip-proof housing and self-sealing grommets for enhanced insect and weather resistance.

Beyond just intrusion detection, the PB-60TX has a secondary real-time alarm output mode, opening it up to new applications such as people counting.

“The PB-60TX represents a significant leap forward in photoelectric beam sensor technology,” says John Angell, Business Manager at TAKEX Europe. “This innovative sensor offers unmatched reliability, adaptability, and energy efficiency, catering to the evolving needs of security professionals and property owners.”

Featuring TAKEX’s double modulation beam technology, the PB-60TX ensures operational stability by significantly reducing the likelihood of false activations caused by ambient light. Four selectable frequencies allow for multiple beam sets without interference, ideal for linear configurations.

The PB-60TX also boasts a sleek and compact design, seamlessly integrating into modern property aesthetics. Its selectable beam power (30m/100ft or 60m/200ft) and ±95° horizontal /±10 vertical optical adjustment allows it to adapt to site-specific requirements, making it a flexible choice for any intruder detection application.

TAKEX will be on stand 5/L17 at The Security Event. For more news on The Security Event 2024, click here.
