Secure Logiq’s online training course: How does RAID work and is there a better way? has received CPD accreditation by The CPD Certification Service.
This is the third course from the manufacturer of storage solutions for HD CCTV systems to receive this certification, following An Introduction to Network Design and Video & Data Flow to the Server and What’s the Difference – Analytic vs Surveillance Servers; H265 vs H264; Surveillance VS Enterprise HDDs; HDD’s VS SSD.
Established in 1996, The CPD Certification Service is the largest independent Continuing Professional Development accreditation organisation working across all industry sectors. It evaluates further learning activities to the highest standards and certifies them against the universally accepted structured checklist.
The newly-certified course is aimed at security professionals working with an integrated IP security system where a processing and storage solution is used to store software applications, process the data flow and store recorded footage. This type of system will often have a RAID array applied to offer resilience from disk loss and the CPD-accredited course explains the different RAID options and what they will mean for a security system.
“At Secure Logiq, we see ongoing training as a vital tool for security professionals to keep up to date with current trends and the latest technology,” said Secure Logiq Global Sales Director, Ben Yoxall. “We have designed our RAID course to be informative and provide a solid grounding in the technology. This recognition from The CPD Certification Service for our online RAID training should give all participants confidence that the course will be useful for them and their careers.”
