Vemotion Interactive has released the VB-26, a highly compact, 4-channel HD video encoder and recorder. Delivering ultra-low latency, high-resolution live streaming HD video transmission over GPRS, 3G, 4GLTE, 5G, Wi-Fi and Satellite networks, the new VB-26 provides up to 4 simultaneous HD video (1920 x 1080) output streams, from one or more connected cameras.
Measuring 47mm x 104.8mm x 23.8mm, the VB-26 saves on space, additional cameras and costs, and can provide close-up monitoring of any defined aspect of a particular scene. In conjunction with digital and optical PTZ, areas of a specific scene of interest can be simultaneously monitored, to reveal enhanced detail.
Suitable for covert applications, or where installation space is limited, VB-26 video can either be streamed live, or recorded on-board, and replayed and downloaded remotely via the Vemotion app; on an Android smartphone or popular VMS platform. For evidential purposes, VB-26 live video is time/date stamped and can be synced to a server.
“The new VB-26 delivers highly efficient streaming video in an incredibly small form factor encoder,” said Steve Haworth, CEO at Vemotion. “Easy to add to existing infrastructure, the VB-26 doesn’t need any specialist SIM cards and drives down usage costs by delivering multi-stream video data without the need for expensive airtime contracts.”
