Security on Screen signs MOU with Professional Security and Safety Alliance (PSSA)

PSSA

Security on Screen is proud to announce that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the newly-formed Professional Security and Safety Alliance (PSSA) in Dubai during Intersec this year.

The PSSA is a wide-reaching, global alliance that aims to bring together the global security industry and raise professional standards, particularly in the area of security guarding, and has the full backing of the Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA), which recognises its worth and potential.

As part of the two-year MOU, Security on Screen Founder and Publisher, Peter Mawson toured the PSSA’s SIRA-approved training facility in Aman, UAE, and you will be able to learn more about the alliance, what it does, and its aims, as we publish details of the tour over the next few weeks.

As well as delivering news for the PSSA, we will also be sharing content from them which will be insightful or beneficial for readers and members of the Security Industry Group community.

Speaking about the MOU, publisher Peter Mawson commented: “Aligning with the PSSA is totally in step with the Security On Screen and The Security Industry Group on LinkedIn ethos and thinking.

“The PSSA agenda of professionalising the security sector from the grass roots level upwards supports those that otherwise may not see recognition or indeed qualifications that can be used across the globe and not just specifically in UAE. Our news platform has committed to supporting the values and activities of the alliance for two years and hopefully long beyond that and the team at Security On Screen are as excited as I am as Founder to deliver practical support and voice to the Alliance as it endeavours to hit its ambitious yet achievable membership and industry positioning goals.”
