Nominations for the 2026 UK OSPAs are officially open

Nominations are officially open for the 2026 UK OSPAs, which takes place on Thursday, 19th February 2026 at the Royal Lancaster London.

The OSPAs, sponsored by by AXON, stands for ‘the Outstanding Security Performance Awards’ and are part of a global awards scheme and serve to recognise and reward teams, individuals and organisations for their commitment and outstanding performance within the security sector.

These awards are designed to be independent, credible, transparent and respectable and anyone from within the security industry can enter.

The categories for nomination are:

  • Outstanding In-House Security Manager/Director (sponsored by First Response Group)
  • Outstanding Contract Security Manager/Director
  • Outstanding Security Team
  • Outstanding Contract Security Company (Guarding) (sponsored by Axon)
  • Outstanding Security Consultant
  • Outstanding Security Training Initiative
  • Outstanding Security Installer/Integrator (sponsored by SSAIB)
  • Outstanding New Security Product
  • Outstanding Security Partnership
  • Outstandign Security Officer
  • Outstanding Female Security Professional
  • Outstanding Young Security Professional (sponsored by CIS Security)
  • Outstanding Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Initiative (sponsored by Lazerbeam Fire and Security)
  • Outstanding Security Sustainability Award (sponsored by Corps Security)

In addition, the following categories will be eligible for nominations, however they are not included in the Global OSPAs:

  • Outstanding Customer Service Initiative
  • Outstanding Event Security Team
  • Outstanding Security Equipment Manufacturer
  • Lifetime Achievement

Winners of this year’s awards, with the exception of the ones otherwise noted, will qualify to participate in the 2nd Global OSPAs, scheduled to take place in 2026. The winner of the Lifetime Achievement award will be inducted into the Security Hall of Fame.
