Assa Abloy Entrance Systems supplied an array of doors throughout the recently completed Robins & Day Peugeot West London dealership at Chiswick, London. Completed by contractor, MCS group Ltd the 4-storey car dealership is a 3,200m2 site with a number of specific needs.
The installed solution includes a day and night door to the service workshop. In day mode, the HS8010PDN high speed door allows cars to pass in and out of the workshop quickly, ensuring that energy loss is kept to a minimum during the working day. In night mode, the OH1042PDN overhead sectional door protects the car dealership and is closed in front of the high-speed door.
In both the customer entrance and exit of the dealership, two Assa Abloy OH1042P SBD (Secured by Design) sectional doors have been installed. These doors met the needs of this commercial environment where security and thermal performance are absolute priority.
In the upstairs valet bay, another OH1042P sectional door has been supplied to ensure optimal thermal performance when the bay is in use. This door was supplied with a glazed OH1042F panel to provide natural light and vision into the valet bay.
As part of the complete doors package, the company also supplied 20 steel hinged doors and one roller shutter to the parts store. The steel hinged doors provided fire compartmentalisation as well as access control and security to different areas of the building.
