New to the range is the X4 Commander Bi-spectral: The Twin Eye. It combines thermal and optical sensors in a single rugged PTZ unit, giving operators the ability to detect in conditions where a standard camera alone would fall short: darkness, smoke, fog, and glare. For perimeter protection and critical infrastructure sites, that means detection out to over 3 kilometres that does not depend on visible light. With 40x optical zoom on the visible side and integrated IR and white light illumination the camera is also able to observe targets up to 1.4km away.
